Glenallachie 8, give it a try.

Nice easy dram to work through in the cooler evenings drawing in. As an 8 year old having had this after the 15 thought it might have been a little rougher around the edges but it is a quality whisky. Drinks well and sits well. Drinking neat as it comes.. Superb colouring out thw bottle.
Allan and Guilia are welcoming and go out their way to help you out.
Order was a collection and packaged ready to pick up on arrival.

Great entry level Glenallachie

I decided to try the 8yo Glenallachie after having loved the 12yo bottling from the same distillery.
It was not what I was expecting but in a good way. It’s not the same sherry bomb style of the 12yo but is a really excellent dram, the red wine casks are evident on the palate and make it a delight. Definitely a bottle to sit beside the 12yo on my shelf! Quick deliver also a bonus!!
