Bottled by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, the casks that are bottled – often whiskies from lesser-known distilleries that are of excellent quality, but have never been widely or consistently available – hence the name ‘Infrequent Flyers’.
Nose: a heavy nose of zuppa inglese, rum'n'raisin ice cream, marzipan and dark chocolate.
Taste: massive Oloroso flex here, starting with Demerara sugar, cocoa and mochaccino. Some heavyweight flavours emerge - Amarena cherries and Black Forest gateau. Underpinned by a warming, soft spiciness - cinnamon and cloves.
