Bowmore Distillery is Islay's oldest licensed distillery and the second oldest in Scotland. The whitewashed buildings and coastal warehouse emblazoned with its name in large black letters makes it an iconic landmark. Bowmore is renowned for balancing peat and salinity, and its legendary No. 1 Vault is one of the world's few whisky warehouses located below sea level which helps to develop the characteristic maritime notes
The 12 is a perfectly balanced whisky with puffs of rich earthy smoke, pools of heathery honey and balanced by lemon zest, hints of warm fruits and dark chocolate.
