Draughtsman is the final bottling in the award winning Clydebuilt Collection. Ardgowan’s whisky maker Max has married sherry matured twenty-five-year-old malt whisky with oloroso matured malts sourced from eight distilleries across Scotland. The result is a truly luxurious blended malt showcasing the best of sherry matured whisky and the art of blending.
This fantastic Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a blend of eight distinctive single malt whiskies sourced from across Scotland. The youngest whisky is 8 years old, the oldest is 25 years old.
Specially created by the legend that is Max McFarlane.
Nose: Complex: Ceylon tea, manuka honey, sweet currant scones and marzipan meet candied lemon peel, dark chocolate, and leatherbound books.
Palate: Packed with mouth-watering notes: toast with juicy blackcurrant jam, subtle all spice, dark red fruits, and herbal hints.
Finish: A slow start building to super charged, explosive finish.
