The original Ardgowan Distillery was founded in 1896, the current distillery filled its first cask in June this year following eight years of development, planning and construction. Built on the historic Ardgowan Estate, it is the first new distillery to open in Inverclyde for over a century.

Clydebuilt Scottish Dry Gin's label is a nod to the Art Deco liners built on the Clyde.

This handcrafted small batch gin is distilled in a traditional Scottish-made copper pot still and blends locally foraged flora with classic gin botanicals to create a gin that reflects the local pride in the Clyde shipyards and the global influence of the ships built there.

Classic dry gin notes of piney juniper, sharp citrus, and exotic coriander have been blended with locally foraged botanicals from the slopes overlooking the Distillery: gorse, wood sorrel, garden mint and sweet woodruff.
