The Clydebuilt single malt 12 year old Sherry 100 Proof is a higher strength version of the original 12 year old Sherry expression, bottled at 57.1% ABV to deliver greater flavour concentration and really bring the cask influence to the fore.
The strength corresponds to the traditional British 100 proof system, historically defined as the point at which a spirit could still ignite gunpowder: approximately 57.1% alcohol by volume.
Matured in a combination of sherry butts then Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso hogsheads, this release intensifies the dark fruit, spice and oak character, offering a more powerful take on Clydebuilt’s sherry cask style.

Nose: Raisins, dates, toasted nuts, and spice.
Palate: Full bodied with dried fruits, dark chocolate, and leather.
Finish: Long and warming with layered spice and oak.
