Named after the remote, stormy coastline on the Kintyre peninsula, The Gauldrons is a tempestuous mix of maritime notes and sweet smoke, evoking the palate of Campbelton, once the whisky capital of Scotland. The spider on the label is a tribute to Robert the Bruce's legendary encounter with the determined spider which inspired him to return to Scottish Shores after leaving from Kintyre. A blend of Campbeltown malts.

Nose: sea air, gentle smoke, sweet honey and a whiff of seaweed.

Palate: kicks off with maritime character, then shortbread, dried oak and cereals; followed by spice, smoke, vanilla and cinnamon pancakes.
