Clydebuilt is a collection of limited edition whiskies blended and released over five years by Ardgowan Distillery. Sailmaker is the third whisky in the series (released August 2022) and is a blend of single malts from Speyside, Lowland and Highland matured in Oloroso sherry casks. This sumptuous dram was created by Master Whisky Maker Max McFarlane (previous lead whisky maker at Edrington, including Highland Park).
Palate: relaxes slowly to reveal a long-lasting butterscotch, marzipan, mangoes, and a hint of vanilla.
Finish: rich sherry pervades - raisins and spice.
