Lochlea is an independent family-owned farm/distillery in the heart of Ayrshire, Scotland. Lochlea launched their inaugural dram in 2022. The Lochlea team distil and mature their whisky at the farm from barley grown there.

This dram is part of Lochlea's new core range of single malts: Single Estate, This is a permanent collection built on Lochlea's commitment to quality, provenance, and character. This Single Estate range reflects their previous seasonal releases, and showcases Lochlea spirit's versatility and the influence of their cask selection.on.

Orchard & Oak is a bright, fruit-forward single malt and a proud new addition to Lochlea’s core range. Matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon, Virgin American Oak, and Calvados casks, it delivers vibrant notes of fresh apple, buttery caramel, and sweet oak, with a soft, grassy freshness and a smooth, spiced finish.

Nose: Sweet apple notes, earthy, fresh cut grass and lightly floral notes.

Palate: Fresh cut green apples, buttery caramel, fresh grassy flavours & oaky spice. Apple cake, rich and buttery, with cream and fruit freshness.

Finish: Sweet oak, caramel, and light cereal to finish.
