Great Dram

Yet another amazing whisky tasting hosted by The whisky Room. The organisation was as smooth as the drinks and the venue was perfect. Cheers!

This is my 3rd bottle of this lovely dram. First didn’t last long and the second was given as a well received gift. I wonder how long the 3rd will last...

An anticipated release from Lagg distillery.

First impressions didn't disappoint. Savoury smoke to open, followed through with sweet vanilla notes. The smoke remains throughout a medium length finish. Draws you back for more.

Light grassy nose on this one. A young spirit offering but good value for money nonetheless.

Finding a good whisky can be fraught with problems, do you by the expensive one or the cheap one with good reviews? Having the shop owner/manager with a real passion for whisky guiding you is so much easier! Here is a whisky person that will ensure you buy an exceptional experience and who will explain why it will be an such an experience. Loved his recent choice of whisky and cigar combination he made for me. My new default supplier!

Really liked this dram and nearly finished the bottle. Definitely recommend it.

Fantastic and very informative evening with great company and shortbread 😂🤣😂

The pa and the sound was very poor. To the point of painfulness.
The Italian girl spoke too fast with the poor sound , distracted from the whisky.

Two of the drams were best for me the others seemed a bit young.

The previous event at the RGYC was better all round .

Hasn’t put us off though

Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting. Six drams from Arran. Particularly liked the Amarone cask finish.

From 'The Valley Of The Rocks', the Glenallachie 12yo is a beautiful dark colour, lots of sherry flavours, which work well with the whisky and is a delight to drink. Highly recommended.

Another beauty from The Whisky Room Scotland. Lovely amber colour, with sherry sweetness and peat smoke flavours. Classic Islay. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

They did not disappoint. Really engaging and great tasting dram. Slightly pricey purchase but the whisky is thoroughly enjoyable. 12 years in olorosso makes for a fine experience. Opened my eyes to the deasnton branding and range.

I have been using the store since it has opened fairly regularly. Great selection of products. I'm not a Gin drinker, but I have been told it is excellent.

Fantastic whisky. At 55.8 one that really opens up with just a small amount of water. Unlocking hidden depths as some other distillery might say. The transparency of Ardnamurchan has to be applauded. The Madeira cask dram needs to be drunk and celebrated. A fantastic dram.
