This bold and complex limited-edition bottling continues Lindores’ homage to the great Friar John Cor and his legendary distillation of 1494.
Crafted with the typically meticulous care shown by Lindores, the 2026 released has been matured in Ruby Port casks. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 52.5% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, this expression exemplifies authenticity and character in every drop.
Nose: mellow dates, dark raisins, chocolate, figs, berry jam,roasted nuts and cinnamon.
Palate: rich strawberry jam, caramelised dates, dark sugar syrup, vibrant spices, oaky vanilla, marzipan, roasted almonds and dark chocolate.
Finish: Long and sweet, with warming notes of chocolate and spice.
