Established in 2014, the Ardnamurchan Distillery is set on the beautiful, rugged west Highland Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The Ardnamurchan dram, made and matured on-site, reflects the distillery’s location, renowned for its wild landscapes and untamed character. Ardnamurchan embrace heritage, innovation and sustainable practices, from traditional double distillation to blockchain technology. All the power and heat requirements for the distillery come from local renewables and the by-products are recycled on the peninsula. Ardnamurchan's bottle is one of the lightest in the industry; it is produced using over 50% recycled clear glass.
This dram is Ardnamurchan's most pure, distillate-led whisky - fully stripped back and focussed on 100% unpeated Golden Promise distillate from 2019 which was matured entirely in ex-sherry butts and bottled at a cask strength of 58.4%. This is full on, unrestrained Ardnamurchan - a big, robust dram, full of vibrancy and Western Highland DNA.

Nose: brandy-soaked cherries, blackberry schnapps, spearmint, gingerbread, blueberry pie.
Palate: dried ginger, fresh leather, cardamom, toffee, pancakes doused in maple syrup, pumpernickel.
Finish: jammy, spicy, bold, lengthy.
