Wester has been distilling and blending in Glasgow’s industrial heartland since 2018. But being surrounded by history doesn’t mean they do things the old-fashioned way - they like to put a modern twist on the traditional. Bucking the trend and being bold. They import only the finest authentic rums from the shores of Jamaica and Guyana and then carefully blend every drop of the flavoursome, exotic spirit in Glasgow. The result? Sublime tropical flavour with a no-nonsense Scottish spin.
Wester Coconut Rum is a smooth, indulgent spirit with a tropical character. It opens with aromas of toasted marshmallow and chocolate coconut, while the palate brings warm toasted coconut and juicy raisins for a rich, rounded finish. Ideal for sipping, serving over ice or mixing into cocktails, it works especially well shaken with pineapple juice, coconut milk and ice, then garnished with a wedge of pineapple.
