This incredible bottler, Glaschu Spirits Co. is owned by Paul Jamieson and Julian Mithoff and based in Glasgow, Scotland (Glaschu is Gaelic for Glasgow). The Glaschu guys have backgrounds in aircraft engineering so decided to use that theme for the Glaschu labels - the subject and colour changes with each release but is always in the same art deco style design.
This single cask bottling from Tormore Distillery highlights the elegant and often overlooked character of one of Speyside’s most architecturally distinctive distilleries. Known for producing a refined, fruit-driven spirit primarily destined for blends, Tormore rarely appears as an official single malt, making independent releases especially appealing to enthusiasts.
Bottled by Glaschu Spirits Company, this 15 year old expression has matured slowly to develop a layered profile of fruit, malt sweetness and gentle spice. Presented at natural colour and without chill filtration, it delivers a textured and authentic Speyside dram that showcases the distillery’s subtle complexity.
Nose: Sweet malt, vanilla cream and soft orchard fruits with delicate floral notes.
Palate: Honeyed barley, baked apple and gentle spice supported by creamy oak.
