Founded in 1967, GlenAllachie Distillery is nestled in the heart of Speyside, just outside the charming town of Aberlour and at the foot of Ben Rinnes. Surrounded by heather-strewn hills and ancient granite rock, GlenAllachie draws its water from the nearby Springs of Ballantynes, renowned for their purity and softness: an essential ingredient in crafting its rich, fruit-forward style of single malt whisky.

Sinteis’ (pronounced sin-teesh) meaning ‘synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic, embodies our cask creativity as we merge two bold yet complementary wood types to concoct unparalleled expressions.

Merging single malt matured in Oloroso Sherry casks with spirit from rare Scottish virgin oak barrels has resulted in a harmonious fusion of dark chocolate, grated nutmeg and citrus fruits. Glenallachie proudly present this Sinteis Series bottling at a cask strength of 58.2% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique spirit to speak for itself.

COLOUR: Burnished Mahogany.

NOSE: Mocha, grilled honeycomb and sun-dried red berries, with cinnamon butter, toasted lemon peel and muscovado sugar.

TASTE: Heather honey, citrus and warmed baking spices, followed by gingersnaps and poached orchard fruits, with mocha and vanilla buttercream on the finish
