I really enjoyed this one. The Cognac cask finish gives it a rich, fruity depth that keeps it interesting without overpowering. I get peach, tropical fruit and a hint of sweetness, balanced by light smoke and spice. Being a local Lowland whisky makes it even better. Distinctive dram, reasonably priced, and one I’d happily pour again.
An engaging and entertaining night, well worth the time and cost of attending. This is our second event with the WhiskyRoom, again the learning and tasting experience was first class, we will be back again.

Whisky was a birthday gift who live miles away. The Aran malt was very well received, clean, light and full of flavour. However I could not include a gift message, nor choose a delivery date. It arrived a week early!! Otherwise excellent
Really nice drink .50%is a great strength for a 10year old.great barley flavor. Start the bottle and hard to stop .

Don’t be fooled by plant based, it’s exactly the same as something like Baileys or equivalent, really nice
Normally if drinking Rum would be Spiced Rum. Thought I would try Banana for a change, was not disappointed really enjoyed it. Look forward to tasting other variations.

The Whisky Room is a hidden gem in Gourock! Picked up the Glenallachie 10 PX Hogshead from Glaschu Spirits Co. At the recent tasting - absolutely stunning dram with rich dark fruits, chocolate, and the classic Glenallachie honeyed sweetness. Beautifully balanced.
Alan and Giulia are exceptional - their passion, knowledge, and warm hospitality make every visit special. They’ve created something truly special with an outstanding selection. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!
