Lochlea is an independent family-owned farm/distillery in the heart of Ayrshire, Scotland. Lochlea launched their inaugural dram in 2022. Master blender, John Campbell and the Lochlea team distil and mature their whisky at the farm from barley grown there.
Lochlea have released Batch 2 of their cask strength expression following on from the excellent Batch 1. This latest batch is a bit of a sherry bomb and is presented with full natural integrity as you would expect from John Campbell and the team at Lochlea. 12,000 bottles globally.
Nose: apples, peach syrup, marmalade.
Palate: wild lavender, rose petals.
Finish: black pepper, signature Lochlea fruit.
