Bottled by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, the casks that are bottled – often whiskies from lesser-known distilleries that are of excellent quality, but have never been widely or consistently available – hence the name ‘Infrequent Flyers’.
This single cask release showcases a distinctive expression from Loch Lomond Distillery: the Inchfad, known for its peated character.
Nose: youthful but intense. A peated variant from Loch Lomond, however the nose leans more towards velvety phenols and sweet iodine, rather than peat smoke. Fantastic presence of Cotton Candy green grapes.
Taste: this is weighty, a really bold dram. Candy floss, crème brûlée, caramelised toasted oak and dried figs. And those spicy nutmeg notes - tinglier than a Wham bar! Feisty one, this is.
