Over the last three decades, the Murray McDavid Team have questioned the normal cask conventions of whisky maturation. Around 75% of a whisky’s flavour will develop from the cask so the team source exceptional casks from the very best vineyards, bodegas and whiskey-makers across Europe and America. Using the very best wood balances the natural character and slowly develops into extraordinary spirit.

Linkwood has long been one of Speyside’s quiet stars, producing an elegant and fruit-forward spirit that is highly regarded by independent bottlers but rarely seen as an official single malt. The Koval bourbon cask, crafted by the renowned Chicago distillery, imparts layers of creamy vanilla, honeyed sweetness and gentle spice.
Nose: buttery malt, creamy peach, lemon balm.
Palate: barley sugars, sweet stone fruit, citrus.
Finish: gentle pepper, apple peel, sweet oak
