The Uncharted Whisky Co. is an independent bottler based in Fintry, Scotland and run by Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos. They marry exceptional spirits with fantastic casks to create drams which pass the Jack and Dana test. Everything is done by hand and in tiny batches.
This 8 year old Speyside single malt comes from Aultmore Distillery, a distillery prized for its clean, grassy and subtly floral spirit character.
This small batch release has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels, creating a fresh, vibrant whisky with bright orchard fruit, gentle vanilla sweetness and a crisp, elegant profile.
Nose: delicate and fragrant pear drops, pineapple, and lemon sherbet
Palate: super smooth and warming. Notes of fresh baking like lemon drizzle cake accompany florals and oak wood,
Finish: soft esters, pears, oak wood, mild vanilla and malted barley.
