Living Souls is an independent Glasgow based bottler. The hands-on team have decades of experience in the whisky industry and each of them plays a part in shaping the drams. Their whisky is flavour led, small batch and full of character - perfect for enjoying!
This 16 year old dram is from a North Highland distillery renowned for sherry maturation. The distillery planned to use this spirit for an unpeated bottling but when it was sampled, a small amount of peated spirit was found in the mix. How it got there? Nobody knows. Like the original 99&1, it is something that was never meant to exist.
Tasting Notes: fruit scones with raspberry jam, coffee cake and sticky toffee pudding.
