This Islay dram, first launched in March 2024, is a new core-range expression from the Kilchoman farm distillery. The natural power and character of Kilchoman create intense peat smoke and notes of dark fruits and citrus. A few drops of Kilchoman spring water were added post-maturation to produce a Batch Strength of 57% ABV.
Nose: Cherries, red fruits and heather blossom, with an intense peat smoke.
Palate: Layers of toffee, rich spices, and vanilla overlay the lingering peat smoke.
Finish: Silky with notes of crumpets, butter and honey.
