The return of Arran 14 Year Old marks the revival of a much-loved age-statement whisky, sitting perfectly between the distillery’s acclaimed 10 and 18 year old expressions. Matured in a carefully selected combination of bourbon and sherry casks, it captures the bright, fruit-forward character that has become synonymous with Arran while adding an extra layer of maturity, depth and complexity.
14 years of ageing brings greater richness and texture to the spirit, allowing vibrant orchard fruits and citrus notes to develop alongside subtle oak influence and gentle coastal character. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, this is Arran at its most balanced: elegant, flavourful and unmistakably island in style.
Nose: Rich fruit syrup with apples and mandarin. Cereal sweetness and a gentle coastal salinity.
Palate: Viscous with salted apples, toffee and mango.
Finish: Lingering with soft oak, restrained sweetness and a delicate saline edge.
