Bottled by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, the casks that are bottled – often whiskies from lesser-known distilleries that are of excellent quality, but have never been widely or consistently available – hence the name ‘Infrequent Flyers’.
Nose: Stewed raisins and sultanas, crushed digestives and toasted oak.
Taste: Viscous, rich and intense, to be expected given the whisky has spent more than half of its life in a Sauternes cask. The bold sweetness of Demerara sugar and soft caramel share top billing with tangy apricot marmalade, allspice and ginger.
