This incredible bottler, Glaschu Spirits Co. is owned by Paul Jamieson and Julian Mithoff and based in Glasgow, Scotland (Glaschu is Gaelic for Glasgow). The Glaschu guys have backgrounds in aircraft engineering so decided to use that theme for the Glaschu labels - the subject and colour changes with each release but is always in the same art deco style design.

This 10 year old example has been fully matured in a single, first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead. The resulting dram is a caramel fudge brownie bombshell of sticky sweetness, and cherry delight, with a refined aura of toasted brioche and sandalwood.

For the artwork on this release, we’ve chosen to feature the Ecurie Ecosse racing team. A Scottish motor racing team from the 1950’s that won two 24hr Le Mans races and raced in three F1 races. Showcased are the team's  Jaguar D-Type and C-Type, along with the branded transporter bus parked in front of GlenAllachie Distillery.

Nose : Caramel, toasted brioche bun, cherry preserve,
sandalwood.

Palate : Chocolate fudge brownie, juicy flame raisins, treacle.

Finish : Rich and complex, sticky sweet.
