This incredible bottler, Glaschu Spirits Co. is owned by Paul Jamieson and Julian Mithoff and based in Glasgow, Scotland (Glaschu is Gaelic for Glasgow). The Glaschu guys have backgrounds in aircraft engineering so decided to use that theme for the Glaschu labels - the subject and colour changes with each release but is always in the same art deco style design. 

This dram was distilled on the southern Islay coast, between Lagavulin and the town of Port Ellen... at a distillery renowned for its peaty coastal character. 15 years old is the sweet-spot for this distillery's core range, as is a bourbon barrel so if it's not broken…
