Founded in 1967, GlenAllachie Distillery is nestled in the heart of Speyside, just outside the charming town of Aberlour and at the foot of Ben Rinnes. Surrounded by heather-strewn hills and ancient granite rock, GlenAllachie draws its water from the nearby Springs of Ballantynes, renowned for their purity and softness: an essential ingredient in crafting its rich, fruit-forward style of single malt whisky.

Sinteis’ (pronounced sin-teesh) meaning ‘synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic, embodies our cask creativity as we merge two bold yet complementary wood types to concoct unparalleled expressions.

Uniting rich single malt matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheons and Chinquapin, a native American oak from the Ozarks in Missouri, has created a medley of dark fruit, baking spices and chocolate tones.

Glenallachie proudly present this Sinteis Series bottling at a cask strength of 57.8% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique spirit to speak for itself.

Colour: Intense Walnut.

Nose: Liquorice, butterscotch, and grilled honeycomb, with candied orchard fruits, cocoa, and treacle tart.

Taste: Ginger, butterscotch and candied lemon slices, followed by fig jam, blackberries, and molasses, with cinnamon spice and rich cocoa on the finish.
