A Lowland malt made close by the Clyde, at Auchentoshan Distillery. A quarter:century in a bourbon barrel means a forceful drop, further enchanted by its calvados encounter as a finishing cask influence.
Nose: The atmosphere of an apple orchard. Verdant fruit, warm vanilla custard. A splinter of oak.
Palate: savour tangy apple, cinnamon, woody notes once more. Rich and creamy. Coats the palate for a protracted farewell.
Finish: Sweetness, softness and faintly spiced. Lie back in your apple grove, it’s a lengthy dénouement.
