Established in 2014, the Ardnamurchan Distillery is set on the beautiful, rugged west Highland Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The Ardnamurchan dram, made and matured on-site, reflects the distillery’s location, renowned for its wild landscapes and untamed character. Ardnamurchan embrace heritage, innovation and sustainable practices, from traditional double distillation to blockchain technology. All the power and heat requirements for the distillery come from local renewables and the by-products are recycled on the peninsula.
The Core AD/ is a west coast single malt which is 50:50 unpeated to peated whisky matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and combines signature coastal characteristics with peat, fruit and marshmallows.

Nose: Orchard fruit, wet pebbles on a beach, oyster shells and eucalyptus
Palate: Tobacco leaves, peppercorns, brine, hay bales and marzipan
Finish: Coastal sea spray and bonfire on the beach lingering.
