Established in 2014, the Ardnamurchan Distillery is set on the beautiful, rugged west Highland Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The Ardnamurchan dram, made and matured on-site, reflects the distillery’s location, renowned for its wild landscapes and untamed character. Ardnamurchan embrace heritage, innovation and sustainable practices, from traditional double distillation to blockchain technology. All the power and heat requirements for the distillery come from local renewables and the by-products are recycled on the peninsula. Ardnamurchan's bottle is one of the lightest in the industry; it is produced using over 50% recycled clear glass.
This whisky has come from a single cask which has been matured in American oak and Oloroso Sherry, it is one for the peat lovers so expect some smoke off this one.
