The original Ardgowan Distillery was founded in 1896, the current distillery filled its first cask in June this year following eight years of development, planning and construction. Built on the historic Ardgowan Estate, it is the first new distillery to open in Inverclyde for over a century.
This is the final release in the Clydebuilt single cask trilogy, specially selected by Laura Davies and matured in a Manzanilla sherry hogshead sourced from the coastal warehouses of Miguel Martín at Sanlúcar De Barrameda.
Known for its lighter coastal style, Manzanilla sherry imparts freshness and saline character, offering a brighter, more delicate profile compared to the previous PX and Oloroso releases.

Nose: Crisp green apple, floral notes, and toasted almonds.
Palate: Zesty citrus with a gentle nuttiness.
Finish: Fresh and delicate.
