Located in Perthshire on the Highland–Lowland border, Aberargie Distillery follows a true barley-to-bottle philosophy. Barley is grown on the family’s 300-acre farm and distilled, matured, and bottled entirely on-site.
This Golden Promise Expression celebrates a barley variety renowned for its rich flavour and historic importance in Scotch whisky. Matured with approximately 2 thirds influence from first-fill bourbon casks and 1 third first-fill sherry casks, this cask make-up highlights Golden Promise’s layers of buttery pastry, baked orchard fruits and gentle spice.
Tasting Notes: a bold whisky with notes of warm, buttery pastry, stewed apples enriched with brown sugar and baking spices that linger on the finish.
