The final in the annual series of limited seasonal bottlings, Lochlea Ploughing Edition reflects winter on the farm when the fields are starting to be ploughed and ready for the barley to be sown in Spring. The spirit is un-peated but the Ex- Islay barrels and peated quarter casks are used for the maturation which results in a smoky version of the signature Lochlea whisky. 11,000 bottles globally.

Nose: Boiled sweets.
Palate: Cooked apple and Brazil nuts.
Finish: Haze of lingering peat.
