On a fantastic journey, increasingly the founders have missed their Dad’s influence and guidance. When it came to releasing a new Blended product there was an obvious parallel. The complexity of the Blend & the complexity of the Clock.

Bart’s Irish Whiskey is the first blended release from Lough Ree Distillery

Nose: Freshly charred orange peel and toasted marshmallow surround the lighter fruit aromas of kiwi and sliced pear. Hints of cinnamon complete this enticing introduction.

Taste: A cornucopia of red fruit reminiscent of sweet summer pudding. Dry spice becomes apparent as the rye influence takes hold, closing out with clove rock and crisp caramelised Crème brûlée.

Finish: Long and spicy, oils coating the mouth, drying with wisps of smoke. Mouthwatering and satisfying.
Overall: A complex blend of Grain, Pot Still and Peated Malt with Malt Whiskeys finished in Rye & Oloroso Casks. This modern blended Irish whiskey is equally at home served on the rocks, in a highball or in your favourite whiskey cocktail.
