Their first single malt ‘Glasgow 1770 Original’ launched in 2018 and in 2020 the distillery was named Distillery of the Year at the Scottish Whisky Awards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is the first ever 10 Year Old Peated single malt from The Glasgow Distillery bottled to celebrate 10 years of peated whisky making. In 2025, The Glasgow Distillery celebrated 10 years of making single malt – their peated single malt production (now accounting for 5 months of every year) began in 2016. This celebratory release is a marriage of three bourbon casks (two refill ex-Bourbon casks and one first fill ex-Bourbon cask) with an outturn of only 550 bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA beautifully balanced double distilled 10-year-old peated single malt matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks. Delicate bonfire smoke weaves through layers of honeyed sweetness, tropical fruit and citrus, while a gentle waxy texture and lingering oak spice create a refined, elegant dram with impressive maturity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNose: soft bonfire smoke intertwines with creamy vanilla and rich honey, complemented by grilled pineapple, satsuma and crisp green apple. Beneath the fruit lies toasted malt and biscuit, with subtle earthy undertones.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePalate: a gentle, oily texture carries flavours of vanilla ice cream, honeycomb and cinder toffee, balanced by crystallised pineapple, lemon peel and fresh orchard fruits. Sweet confectionery notes of candy floss and hard-boiled lemon sweets are underpinned by waxy citrus, delicate floral smoke and warming oak spice. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinish: long, smooth and gently warming, with lingering vanilla, smoky honey and soft bonfire embers.
